also copied the base into solid works so that I can see what it looks like before I start hacking one out of a steel bar.

Mike your mill will make the same parts,

Thanks for the amazing, I amaze myself at times like making this, I'm amazed that I haven't had to make the parts two or three times already.

sure you don't want some freezing rain and sleet, I can box you up some, not sure what condition it would be in upon arrival

We are having some cold weather here too, Dave. Instead of being in the low 90's in the afternoon, it is only in the mid 80's. I will have to begin wearing a long sleeve shirt on my morning walks at 6 am. But the rainy season has been over for two months, so there will be no rain again until late May or early June. This place changes from a lush jungle to a dry desert and then back again.

The freezing rain and sleet you can keep, I just need something that's a bit cooler than what we're having and with a lot less humidity, and it will only get worst as summer rolls on, all well I guess that the joy of never having to see snow in winter :)

had a new project drop into my hands the other day, just what I need another project.

this one is pretty much a basket case, Spanish Mouser in .308 with was gifted to me with the stock all messed up from someone that sure didn't know squat about fitting a action to the wood.
