it's used to size an lubricate cast bullets so that they are the correct size, the molds are normally oversize a couple thousands.

This unit that I'm trying to make is a nice unit, this would go a lot faster if I had one in hand to measure I'm doing this off an internet image of one that I saw and liked.

I had to spend a couple hours last night redoing a couple of the cad files for the pattern maker to correct a mistake that I had made in the original drawings. But its been a fun project.

Great castings, but with out your expert machining skills it would be impossible to finish. Just thinking about some of the alignment problems gives me a head ache.

well you just have to drill the holes in a straight line and hope they all line up :D :D . and you probably can't do it on a drill press you need a mill which you don't have to be an expert to know where the on off buttons are.

had to redo most of the patterns due to my stupid mistakes of not adding enough draft in places and making some of the parts too small.

I found out that Krylon rattle can paint will stick and not dissolve the plastic, so will probably try a coat on some of the new patterns that should be here next week sometime.
