Ain't it wonderful to be able to make just about any damn thing we want to? It's hard for me to imagine how those poor suckers who do nothing but sit in offices and watch television can manage to make it in life.

did the heat treat on the knife blade last night but think I messed it up so will redo it tomorrow, had the supreme pleasure of spending most of today in the VA trying to see the Cardiologist so he could tell me that I'm still alive.
he did make some minor changes to my meds, increased my BP med and took me off the blood thinner

Took you off the blood thinner, that seems strange for someone with heart issues, but I'm not a Cardiologist

said that it doesn't really provide any benefit passed 18 months after having stints stuck in ya, said to keep taking the aspirin.
so I stopped taking it and damn if I don't feel the same this morning as I did yesterday, and the dog is still just as mean.
I also redid the heat treat on the knife blade this morning in a more orderly fashion by putting the blade in the toaster to temper it at 450 degrees for a couple of hours. now I get to spend the weekend putting an edge on it to see if it will sharpen so I can shave.

due to the rain, me and the dog have been playing with the cad program again trying to get all of the parts for the lube/sizer assembled as they would be in real life.
and just to keep this on track with metal casting the new updated patterns will be here in the next few days hopefully.
for something that's only got four castings this damn thing sure has a bunch of other parts.
